i am able to lay down all of my instruments in logic, save, and then come back to a fully working set-up. except for my drums.
for the life of me the drum track will not save and i must re-do them each time. i record them in the "drum track" and the normal instument tracks. any help would be greatl. |

I am not quite sure I understand...
Do you record it as audio? And what do you mean about "drum track"? Do you have the midi signals, and not sound, or ....? What kind of midi source do you have? -------------------- "It said Windows 2000 or better on the box, so I bought a Mac"

i didn't record the drums as an "audio" track.
they were recored as a midi signal. under perhaps "mapped drums" or something like that. "drum track" meaning: just as a piano track or harpsicord track. pure midi signal. if i turn the keyboard off and then on again. i have to reset each instrument to their proper place. .i.e make the piano track piano in the track manager....harp to harp etc.... but the drum track never will replay as drums, only as other instruments, which means they sound like a 1st grade band practice. i have the green usb midiman2. and am running Logic 4.8 on an iBook 460mhz. everything else is perfect. even recording midi in thru imic and using dsps. any help would be great. thanks. |
