Hi, I'm considering the purchase of a pair of wireless headphones for my outdoor recordings on a DAT recorder.
Does anybody knows if the interferences that sometimes occur because of such wireless device can be caused by battery operated devices (dat recorder, mic nt4), thus inducing artifacts in the recording, or induce artifacts in any other way in the final recording? tx! -------------------- you wish!!!!

Think about this. The headphones might be wireless but the transmitter must usually be plugged in to the mains.

what do you mean exactly?
that there's no transmitter working on battery? or that because of this, there's no chance of parasites? though I dont see how... tx -------------------- you wish!!!!

that might depend on the frequency used.. like the way a bad guitar cable picks up a really strong FM or AM signal but not a cell phone. I had one once that picked up Air-traffic controllers from a relay tower about a km away from my house, but i digress......
If your other gear is designed properly and not malfunctioning in some way , it should be okay.. i think if I understand you correctly Ce message a été modifié par lancet - sam. 22 avril 2006, 05:35. -------------------- |

yes thanks! we're on the good way!
I'm concerned about parasites that could induce in the DAT recording because of the frequency use or infrared use of the headphones. is it possible in some way? regards -------------------- you wish!!!!

my ipod touch has a broken headphone jack, it costs 150 to repair and thats a rip. can i use wireless headphones to listen to music clearly? if yes, what brand is good? Sorry to say that wireless headphones won't work because you still have to plug the wireless transmitter into the headphone jack.. The transmitter works off the mains so even if your headphone jack did function it would only work where you can plug the transmitter into the wall. |
