Has any one been abble to control a plug (filter frequency for example) with a non digidesign external controler. I was intending to use BEHRINGERS for live mixing. I know it will work for level and pan using HUY emulation mode but I really need to filter sound or I will have to get back to analog.
thanks.

Behringer B-Control Fader BCF2000

I just purchased the BCF 2000. It hasn't arrived yet but I've been reading about it online in different forums and apparently it is suppossed to work with Pro Tools just fine. Here is a post that I found that many people were having difficulty with:

"Like Oskar said, it's a pain until you upgrade the firm ware, and thanks to him I got it going on pro tools 7(mac and PC).. The important trick has stated below is to go to Setup> Peripherals> Midi Controllers> and under type, choose HUI, then Receive From, choose BCF200Pr1, then under Send to, Choose BCF200Pr1,, Oskar you saved me,, Thanx bro.."

Hope that helps.

Benjamin
