the EXSP is full featured, the EXS instrument editor is actually part of Logic's code. Express6 contains the EXS editor, that was removed in Express7. The EXSP is multi timberal (different sounds on different midi channels) the EXS24MKII is not. In April Redmatica will release keymap for creating exs instruments. http://www.redmatica.com/Site/Pages/KM.phpKontakt from Native Instruments is a popular plug. My first virtual sampler was VSamp $39 still use it now, very cpu effecient http://www.vsamp.com
