I kind of got that too, but I realized that my sample rate was set to 96000 khz so it was killing the processor.
I set it to 44100 and the issue has sense been resolved. I am also using a FW410, but I am not sure if this is your issue. -------------------- Ableton Live 4.1

QUOTE (Ziggomatic @ Mar 21 2005, 17:41) hello everyone. i installed Reason 3 and i theres a lot of ''pop corn'' sounds when i playback my track. do you guys have the same problems? i running Reason 3 on a Powerbook G4 500mhz with 512mb ram with a Firewire 410 thanx!!! Try checking what your latency setting it set at. Increasing it can lessen the demand on your processor. Also, depending on what's coming from disk you may want to run a disk utility and possibly need to defragement your hard disk. -Vincent |

Also, any popping or clicking is usually a clocking problem.
If 2 or more digital devices are being used, you need to address the house master first. Set your best clock source to internal and set the others to external. They should all be set to the same sampleing and bit depth as well. chap |

It is possible to ''erase'' all the presets in the control of the devices? I mean, i have a radium 49 and buttons are allready mapped to something and it's kinda annoying... Wich driver do you recommand for the Firewire 410? I never saw any audio signal in the control panel and that piss me off. thanx for replies guys! |
