I put my computer to sleep and when I wake it there are problems. iTunes Audio won't play out my speakers, or it plays but very distorted. If I restart, problem solved. If I sleep it again and wake it up immediately, this usually solves the problem but not always.
Anyone experience or solve this problem? Any help?
Thank in advance.

Never heard of something like… I'd look closely to the energy saving options first… Does the interface is plugged thru a hub? If so, plug it directly into the mac USB port. Can you try with a Panther system? In case

I have this problem, but only since I upgraded to an iMac with Pro 7, under Gold 6 on my iBook it was ok.
Also, when I boot up Logic I now have a message telling me I have an old driver installed and that I need to upgrade it to 1.5 or higher. i have installed version 2.1 twice now, and it still does not clear the problem. i think the two problems may be linked.
i have submitted a technical support request to Apple, but I'm not even sure it got through - the page kept reloading hinting there was a problem with the form but didn't tell me where. The old support format was much stronger, before they centralised everything....
