Powerwave For Djing, Comtemplating Powerwave Purchase Options

Hi, I am contemplating the purchase of an audio interface for DJing, but said interface must allow headphone jack to be assignable for cuing. The guy at the MacStore told me it was able to be assigned, but I haven't seen that anywhere. Anybody know.

Current set up: Powerbook g4 12" 857. 80GB harddrive. Evolution X-session controller (which I love).

any interface with more than two outputs can be used, it actually depends on the software you are going to use.
are you going to dj with what? Live? Traktor? these and a fe other softwares will give you a dedicated channel to pre-audition a track while another is playing, and you will be able to assign this track to one particular output of your soundcard.
If your soundcard has only one stereo output, all you can do is pan all the music on the left and what you want to hear in your headphones to the right, which of course means that both you in your headphones and your audience in the club hear everything in mono (which for some styles could still be ok).

finally, even if your soundcard has two or more stereo outputs, these are normally at "line" level, which means they have the impedance to match an amplifier or a mixer, but if you connect your headphones directly the signal will be very very quiet. So you need an headphone amplifier, or a soundcard with a dedicated headphone out.
