I've recently bought a G4, the main purpose is to make music.
I haven't used any programme before so i'm not quite sure which one to get. Some of my mates are saying to go straight for Logic, but will it be to complicated for starting off? Or shouldfor something easier to work with? |

go reason to start with. i have both. logic is incredibly profound if you just want to start making music. reason is a third the price and comes with everything including a drum machine which logic doesn't have. the only thing is you cannot record live audio with reason but you have two very powerful samplers to play pre-recorded audio.
best, r |

hold up. logic express is cheaper then reason. has the ability to record audio. and the sequencer and midi capabilities of logic are way beyond reasons sequencer. reason is a gigantic plug-in for a Digital Audio Workstation.
Reason is not a DAW. IMHO happy recording, editbrain |
