I've been using Logic 6 Platinum with OSX 10.3.3, first on a G4, 933 MHz (i Gig RAM), and now on a G5, dual 2.0 (1.5 gig RAM) with no major problems. I will report that simultaneously running certain power hungry plug-ins taxed the G4 processor. The G5 is far, far better in this respect. I recommend Logic with 10.3.3.
