i recently got this intership for thump radio here in friso. problem is that i love my mac, and the work that they are having do involves using sound forge and acid. basically, i take asome music and insert the company logo or soundbyte intermediately through the prerecorded mixes that are uncompressed. i want to use my macfor i really dont care to invest into a crappy pc. the station uses sound forge and acid to complete the task. peace

I have not tried Live (yet), but the Acid 'equivalent' is Apple's Soundtrack. While it is pretty much the same type of program, it nowhere near as good as Acid. It's $200, which is a fair proce, but I paid $300 for it when it first came out. The 'equivalent' to SForge is indeed Peak 4. It is almost $200 more than SForge, and again, is not as good. Giving up these two excellent apps was the hardest part of switching to Mac!
