Something bothers me as I see it all over the forums… There is no such thing as a "sound card" on macs! Sound cards are PC minded to give audio capacities to a PC motherboard (basically it was CD quality sound, and a bit of DSP synth and MIDI). We do'nt need that on macs. but… We have audio, MIDI or Audio/MIDI interfaces. Giving better quality capacities other the motherboard positioned audio circuits the macs have from day one (crappy then CD quality). These interfaces are either PCI, Firewire or USB. And when I hear about a sound "card" in USB… I can't help laughing (saturday evening rant
