Hi This is my first post- so rookie I didn't know which forum to write in - sorry- I need some help Thanks in advance

I write and play guitar and I am trying to get my first songs onto a disc- all at home with basic equipment

I have three questions

I have Cubase now- what functional difference would I notice with Cubase SE?

IS it worth me buying the Cubase SE CAse or Cubase SL

What can Cubase Sl do that Cubase or Cubase SE can't?

Thanks- any information would help

Hi, about Cubse SE (start edition) it´s the low class seq from steinberg, there are limitations in audio capabilities comparing with SL, or SX (the high end seq from steinberg) like automations, inserts, etc... SE is for the very beginners and you´ll find you need something more pro very shortly!! The best option is cubase SL (Mac os X) and it´s upgradeable to SX. SL costs almost the half of SX and you have everything you need to start and finish your tracks.

Hope it helps.
