im trying to install a midiman 2x2 usb on a powerbook g3 400 running OS9...ive installed the floppy enabler...installed oms 2.3.7 and the latest 2x2 drivers from the midiman site...i configured my studio setup and saved it ...
Firstly it all worked ok with a number of midi progs...however as soon as i shut down, oms no longer recognised my midisport configuration. The ports are still showing up in the software as port 1 and port 2 but i get no signal recieved at all...the led flashes on the midisport so its getting info from the keyboard and the test studio function works in oms to test the midi out signal but still it does not recieve. I tried doing a new studio setup but even that did not help and loading my previously saved setup did not work either. Ive tried oms 2.3.8 but still no good...i had to uninstall oms/midisport drivers re install it and it worked......until i shut down!! its just not staying on the configuration im saving.
