Hi, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong topic or if this has been covered before.
In TextEdit and other programs you can have the computer speak what you type. Is there a way to export this audio as a file? I know you can run an audio cable from the audio output to the input of an audio interface box, but maybe someone knows of an easier way to do this inside of OSX. thanks todd |

The best way to do this in my opinion is to use wiretap. Wiretap is freeware and it records any audio that comes from your computer as an aiff file that you can import into your DAW. I have done the very same thing to import macos speech into pro tools.
