Hell-o everybody, OK, I just wanted to see what some of you guys might suggest or what I might want to look into as far as buying or selling for my future set-up. I am planning on buying a mac G4 desktop for recording, I know I need at least 512mb ram, what would be a good processor speed? I am thinking of using protools digi001 w/lastest software. My set-up right now consists of,Ensoniq ASR-10 sampler,yamahaRM1X,EMU-orbit9090,oxygen 8,gemini decksw/stanton RM3s mixer, behringer mixer 1204,AKG and CAD mics and Event20/20 powered monitors. Thanks alot, I appreciate any advice!!!

Hey was up man? Put it this way, i think the set up you thinking of is perfect, however i highly recommend getting a gig of ram. I have a g4 desktop with a 1.2 ghz processor with a gig of ram digi 002r with the event 20/20's and i have no complaints what so ever. So get at least the 1.2 processor and a gig of ram and youll be set.......also you may think of going with the 002 or the 002r (rack) simply because its ran through fire wire where as the 001 is a separate PCI card so its not that inter changeable say you wanted to take the digi hardware somewhere else and use a different computer to do some on the spot recording....anyway hope this helps
