UA-30 uses USB driver that comes with Mac OS, isn't it?
You don't need another driver. |

You're right the USB drivers come with OS 9 but i'm after some ASIO drivers which will cut down the latency of sound from about 500 m/secs to 7m/secs or something like that!!

Their "shop" page (https://www.usb-audio.com/get-the-driver.asp) shows it as available for OS9.

Below is a link and other info for most of your answers I hope.
Cubse offers a download page of all available ASIO drivers and the products used with them.. a compatibility chart is available for download.. I can email the pdf to you if you like.. it's pretty informative.. with regard to which programs use which drivers and the versions they recognize.... I also would recommend looking at digidesign.com their technical database will answer most configuration issues on most audio hardware/usb/drivers etc.. I have a pdf of all audio programs and the drivers they use.. including the version number they will recognize..it's pretty interesting to look at who's not up to current code base and who is. I read that Delta ASIO for all Midiman cards and interfaces..which are universal drivers are really the best bet with regard to technical specs and performance.. of course you have to use their card.. I also looked at Geffin Technologies.com they have developed some sort of universal asio driver that is not released yet.. not clear on the details but their site may help. Troy Sands www.TroySands.com http://service.steinberg.net/download.nsf http://driverguide.com is also pretty indepth with all kinds of driver downloads for just about any product. take care Ce message a été modifié par djtroysands - mar. 9 déc. 2003, 07:35. |

Thanks a lot for your replies. Innis got it right when saying USB-audio.com still sold the OS9 drivers, they just don't publish an OS9 demo.
