Being somewhat of a beginner and thinking about buying a cheaper version of Logic or Cubase, which one is better? I have worked with cubase before but on a Pc, but I heard that it has problems when used on a Mac.
My "gear" so far, Mac G4 Dp867, 1.25 GB RAM, and MacOS 10.2.3.
I'm thankful for any advice.

Hey Eric,
I got your reply. I am a beginner too, and I have been searching and reading and reading and talking to others and a lot of what is happening is people start with one thing and stay with it. They tend to stick with it until something goes wrong and then they switch. I have never worked with Logic, but I did look at the Big Box. I went wth the Studio Case because a friend of mine has the Steinberg SX and we will be able to exchange files, even though my end will be limited. With this Studio Case I now have access to any VST on the market. The Piano that I have (The Grand SE) sounds very nice and yes, it has a drum machine called the Groove Agent. I do need 3/4 beat that it does not provide, but the beats that are given are good and workable. There is an upgrade path on this system. I'm liking it more and more and the price was right.
