Connecting An Mbox 2 To A Mixing Desk Options

Can anyone help me?? I have recently bought an Mbox 2 and was looking to buy a Mackie CFX12 Mixing desk. Hooking the desk to the Mbox using the desks Main Outputs is easy however, I was wondering if it is possible to also route the Mbox back into the desk for mixing? If not, I am looking to spend between £300 and £500 on a desk if you have any suggestions for a better candidate.
