Hey all i bought a Mx 1000 it said it came with Drivers For mac OSX ....

I got it home today it doesn't work on my G5 no Bloody drivers there was a post i heard to override the hardware to make all the buttons work and download a software driver. i found one it sort of works but when i go into logic Pro it doesn't regonize them all ?
Or do i have to assign them in logic pro if so where do i go to assign a multibutton mouse and how > ?
i got my makie control doing most of the control just want the copy/paste all the quick tools on my mouse i just want it to work ... anyone know the problem
i got 14 days return policy but i read this is a good mouse would like to get it workin if not i will have to wait till a good one comes out wit mac Drivers that works straight out of the box , unless you guys know of one that i could exchange it for .....Main use / Logic audio editing etc

thanks in advance

MD

Have you since:

- repaired permissions
- made an update prebiding ("system optimization")
- restarted

You can use OnyX to do both.

Else, the selection of what button does which thing should be in the mouse software (a system preference or an app in Applications).

Does the mouse work outside of Logic or not?

Try USBOverdrive instead of the stock drivers.
I use it with a Logitech MX Laser, it's alot more flexible than the OEM driver.
