Express Sample Folder (7.0) Options

After downloading Express 7 I cannot absolutely find any smaples in the sampler instrument folder. I tried to put misc. samples in this folder and work it together with EXSP24 and ES1 - ESM instruments, but I am having no luck. The sound effects work fine but there are no samples to show for, even if I reinstall the whole program. Is there a website source I can download directly from Apple or do I need to tweak something in Express ?

You have to create an .exs instrument, the EXS editor was removed from Express after version 6.

Redmatica is supposed to release Keymap http://www.redmatica.com/Site/Pages/KM.php
for creating EXS instruments.

otherwise Logic Pro has the editor included.

ES1 & ESM are synths and don't use samples.
