I am thinking about getting an Alesis Multimix 8USB for recording. It comes with Cubase LE and I just had a few questions about it.
1) Can you do multitrack recording live in Cubase (like in Garageband 2 where you record multiple instruments at once onto different tracks by putting each instrument through the mixer)? 2) If you can't do that can you just record all the instruments onto one track and set volumes/eq with the mixer? Also if anyone has any general comments about Cubase LE or the mixer, that would be cool, too. Thanks, Andrew |
