I'm using DP3 on my iMac G4 with an 828. Since Pro Tools created a non-PCI interface (M-Box) I had to go out and get it. So, my question is can I get DP3 to recognize the 2 inputs providid by the M-Box? If so, how is it done? I swear that I saw a review of the M-Box saying that it could be done, but not how! I can't remember where I saw it anyway.
Any help on this subject will be most appreciated. -Jonati |

i don't get your logic jonati!
you already have an 828, but bought an mbox??? the 828 is a much better interface for many reasons. it's also a motu product, thus more "compatible". it's around about this time that i usually say... "more info please"!!! -------------------- one for all and all for one...

Jonati, if you want to use both interfaces with the same machine, the answer is "you can't" with os 9.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but for DP, you must use either the 828 directly through MAS MOTU driver in DP, or the m-box through ASIO driver. For Pro Tools (LE), you must use the m-box directly with digi drivers, period. For Free, the basic Sound Manager will do, as do DP. Hope this helps a bit. Bye. |
