OK Need some Help with this minor problem.

How do i convert the MIDI sequences to Audio files so that they can be included in the final Bounce?

It states in the getting started manual " If your song contains MIDI Sequences (i am using the intenal quicktime synth) that you would like to include in your final mix, simply record them as you would any audio source. Once recorded as an audio file, you are free to insert effects, or perform any opther process available for audio files and regions in Logic.

I know how to record any other audio source, but i just cant figure this out and i cant find anything in the book.

Thanks for your help!

If simpaly arming a audio recording track, and recording the sound of the midi file while it is playing does not work, the only work around I know of is to run the sound out of the computer (ear phone jack) back into the computer's sound in (I run the sound out into a mixer, then back into the computer). Be sure to turn sound through off before doing this, or you will have an incredible amount of feedback, or at least some nasty echo. Also be sure to record each midi track seperatly, so you will have room for any mastering editing that may be required. Just mute all the midi tracks except the one you want to record. And be sure to mute any adio tracks that are playing, or they will be recorded also.

Hi tek1077 welcome to Logic

if you are getting signal to the master fader meters from the quicktime inst, then it is already available for the final bounce

however, if you want to record it onto separate audio tracks, make sure to solo the quicktime inst, then use the bounce function
you'll get a pop-up window where you will name this audio file and select "bounce and add" what this will do is create a audio file
of just the quicktime inst and that audio file will automatically be place in the audio region window then you will need to drag this file to the arrange window and place it where you want it to play

I would not recommend what kaboombahchunk told you- that way of doing it will severely compromise your sound quality with
the unnecessary Digital to Analog to Digital conversions

I know it seems complex, but you'll get the hang of how the signal flows
