Okay. So I'm nearly through with the Logic "Getting Started" book. Love it, and endorse it, BUT...
I went through the set-up assistant and all, it read my 828 mkII and brings up all the inputs, but it's not giving me any levels (on screen in the Track Mixer) when I play my Korg or my Akai??? Why the heck is that? |

Alright... I figured that out... there's still a whole lotta strangeness going on. It seems that the inputs which are labeled 1-2 on the CueMix display on my 828 aren't quite the same as the ones in Logic. For instance, the Mic lines are actually 1 and 2, which makes 1-2 (on the Display which lists the Mic line separate) end up being 3-4 in Logic. Okay, that's cool, except that the effects then don't play on the right tracks... or rather not at all?

Cool. Got that. Now, can anybody explain why my Triton Le is so quiet? Am I just gonna have to add compressors?
And speaking of FX, everytime I add effects to an audio track it doesn't work. I have to bus them... Maybe it's just class time for Logic. |
