Hi people!
I'm a little confused (again!). I have a microkorg connected to a Tascam Us122 into a G4 12" powerbook, running tracktion. I would like to know how to control the Microkorg sounds through midi messages in my sequencer. I have been so far recording stuff live through the audio inputs and only recently started dabbling in using the midi connection. There is some stuff not supported with osx yet but still I have managed to use the microkorg as an external controller, mapping samples out. How do I do things the other way round? Also, is it possible to trigger more than one sound on the microkorg at a time- if I make a track using exclusively midi, can I only use my synth for one sound? Thanks for the help, I love this site! D. |

You have to look at the back of MicroKorg's manual.
There you'll find MIDI implmentation pages that tell you which parameters are controllable by MIDI control numbers. Normal CC# are 7=volume, 10=pan....... You can type in directly to that MIDI track or have your sequencer record it while you play. |
