Hi everyone.
I wanted to alert everyone that the version of Cubasis shipping with current Tascam US units (US-122, US-224, US-428) are NOT Mac OSX+ compatible.
Cubasis VST does not work under Mac OSX or later, nor does it work under Mac Classic. Basically, the units are shipping without software.
The upgrade paty from Cubasis VST to a Mac OSX compatible version of Cubasis is $300. So to really price compare apples to apples, add $300 to the cost of any of these units.
I just found all this out by trial and error, and wanted to save the next guy the trouble. Musician's Friend has agreed to change their web site to reflect these facts.
