Ok...I feel more than a lil silly asking this one.. But back when I used METRO..there was a very simple way to increase the volume or amplitude of a soundbite. You simply highlighted what you wanted to change and went to a menu option 'scale audio' and typed in your desired value.
I scoured the manual last night looking for a way to do this in DP3. I did notice in the waveform editor at the top of the window there is the word amplitude but I can NOT figure out how to change it. Is this possible in DP?? Am I really this stupid??Thanks again in advance! Joe

There is a (albiet unintuitive) way to adjust a soundbite's level with the "Trim" plugin. Unfortunately, any changes you make will affect the sample permanently. I've been dying for DP to implement soundbite velocity control within the sequencer window, such as Vision does.
Processing a soundbite with Trim through the Audio Menu doesn't permanently change the soundbite. A new soundbite is created with a name derived from the original. The original soundbite remains in the soundbite window list and can be recalled from the list.
