Je découvre ceci et cela ... ********* My dealer passed this tip onto me, which I thought i'd share... Apparently the way fan speed is handled in dual Macs differs according to whether you're using OS9 or OSX. In OSX fan speed is automatically regulated (hence quieter). In OS9 it's not. But there is a way to make fan speed quieter in OS9, according to Didgidesign: 1. Shut your computer down. 2. Start up holding the Option-o-f keys down. You will be prompted to let go of the keys. 3. Type: reset-all (then hit return). The computer will restart. 4. Chose the OS 9.2 Startup disk and restart.
I don't have a dual Mac but will probably get one in the future, so your comments as to the success of this technique would be appreciated. Tim ********* donc : http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120171
