Hello all!
I have written several acoustic guitar pieces and have been using Reason to orchestrate background for these pieces.
What would be a good portable solution for recording (preferablly digital) my analog guitar to get it to a digital format for mixing. Keeping in mind, this is a "hobby" for me and my budget is limited (would like to stay in the mid-hundreds). I'm thinking something in a Sony minidisc and a decent mic...have no clue as to the mic. I would like to keep it portable, allowing me to record field samples and sound effects for other projects.
Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you have to post an exact same message 3 times? Anyway...
Yeah, any MiniDisk recorder and a microphone would be good for you. I heard good reviews about SONY ECM-MS907 (a stereo microphone for a portable recording). Together, they should cost you less than $400...
