does anybody know if i can get logic on a student discount? or even an educator discount (my madre is a teacher)? or any kind of discount?

As far as I know from the ads into Macworld, you can !
(you should ask her if she knows about already for other softs, else there are specialized shops supporting all the makor mac softs for this in the US see ads end of macworld for a sample)

nevermind, i found a good site for education discounts on a ton of stuff, including logic and reason (pizz-ow!). they also have their own discounts on everything from mics and headphones to all kinds of software.

Yeah! I just ordered Reason for 200 and Live for 150! Killer bargains if you are in the education field. Very responsive sales dept. too. like the toll free number.
