Hi guys,
New to protools and have a question How do i go about creating a basic loop pattern in Pro tools? For the record, i have a new imac, mbox2 and protools 7.3 I read a couple of methods and the easiest was to import audio (say a WAV file) trim out the unwated sections of audio and zoom in and out until there is a nice clean loop.....problem is i cant get it looping even by going to Options/loop record and turning this on, as this was the advice given......in fact, the only way i could hear the audio looped was by going to the Region/Loop menu and selecting a number of loops....am i doing something wrong, why cant i have one section of music looped ?? Any help is appreciated. |

PTools has a few new looping features, but I personally think they're too convoluted and prefer to just set the session to grid mode and the grid to bars and option-drag loops to the grid where I want them. That way I can work easily with the dynamics of the track (things popping in and out, muting for a bar) which I don't see how to do simply with the region looping.
Here is a good video about the loop feature of 7.3: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fS4poK-yAjs And here's a good tutorial about looping in PTs: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jul06/arti...rkshop_0706.htm ) Ce message a été modifié par Spiggy - sam. 3 nov. 2007, 20:54. |
