I just initialized my key commands by accident. Now I'm trying to set my key commands back to the way I had them. When I input a key command that I want, it doesn't work!!! Does anybody know why?

I originally had "enter" control the stop function. i can't do that anymore. i also used "v" to access the automation view, but that doesn't work either. I'm really frustrated now.

all of this started, because I was trying to use "record toggle" and that didn't work so I tried to change its key command and now I'm ALL screwed up.

Are there certain keys that cannot be used for key commands? if so, why was I able to use them before.

if anyone could help, I'd be so grateful.

ok there are two things you can do
1 is to under the menu of logic pro click preferences and start logic setup and and asign tone of the preset s
key command of your choice and see if you get the command that you had
or startup key command and reassign any key to the command you want

One thing you can do is check if the keys you are trying to assign are already in use!
