well like the title says would there be any other way to automate effects, aux channels, buses (i.e. like silververb and phase distortion, ect...) for each individual channel when using the esxp23 multitimbrally(oh ya and i am using regular logic audio 5.3). or would i just be better giving each insturment its own track for automation? any help would be appreciated, and please excuse my ignorance on this. unsure.gif

hi akirax,
there is a way to do what you're talking about.
it requires the vsti to be addressable on multiple midi channels. although a logic user, i don't actually use exs much, is it multitimbral?
if i understood you, you need to create instruments for each midi channel used by exs24 in the environment and cable them to the exs instrument, they then become individually addressable in the arrange window, at which point you can treat/automate them seperately.
obviously, the point here is that you'll need to assign a new midi channel as well as a unique output for the zones that you want more control over... wink.gif
