Hi, my logic is changing my audio settings in my midi audio sys preferences from anything I change them to, to 96k hz and 2 channel 16 bit

Then crashes!

Dont know why its doing this. My A62 m does not support 96k hz, so that might be why it crashes, but why does it insist on changing the settings?

Anyone know how I can stop it doing this and if this is going to help me solve and stop Logic Crashing?

(OS x10.4 Logic 6.3.1)

thanks in advance

It sounds like the autoload session might be set at 96k. Try taking the autoload session out of the logic folder and see what happens when you try to launch it. I don't know logic 6.3 very well but I believe logic kept it's autoload sessions in the logic application folder in that version.

OK did that and also removed all files and reinstalled. Now flummoxed, thinking the only way forward is to upgrade to Pro7.

Thanks for your help
