Can anyone tell me if there's a PC-card reader that will work with a 12" G4 Powerbook and a VXPocket card please?

If you by PC-Card mean what used to be called pcmcia-cards, there's a slot for that -- on the new powerbook g4:s at least.
If you mean another type of card like smart card or flash card or similar there are a number of such readers.
I do not know offhand what kind of card yours is, though so I cant say for shure.

I don't believe the 12" has a PC-Card slot... The 15" and 17" do...

I do not have heard of any firewire /usb to pcmcia adapters sorry to disapoint you but a usb or firewire card is the way to go for you or a 15 inch powerbook of course
