Helloh! My PTLE pleads error 7054 everytime I launch it! and error 6012! the answerbase claims I have to give the DAE at least 2 MB more memory, but I'm not quite sure where to claim them... I knew I should have invited that chick to my birthday party... ANYWAY. Now I'm up the creek withought a paddle! How on earth do i get my post-prod studio off the ground if my plug-ins are treating me this way! Please use your inner knowledge to assist. The weird thing is everything was fine until I reloaded my plug-ins... The mac went into repair for a while, and they took all my plugs off the harddrive which means i have to try and get them all on again, but i'm just not really up for it.
Thanking you in advance (Martin?)

if you're OS 9 then you'll find the DAE in system folder/ dae folder. Open the info dialog ( highlight and press apple-i ) and adjust the memory requirements, only the pref figure.. Quit DAE first or you won't be able to adjust them! Maybe throw away the dae prefs and the pt prefs in the preferences folder and check the cache size in the memory control panel ( 512k or less ).

Thank you so much! I will try it out right now. I take it the cache size in the memory control panel is something other than the memory reqs in the info box? excuse my ignorance... biggrin.gif

yes, adjust the dae and check the memory control panel and chuck your prefs away.
