Shure thing.I have an iBook 500 and use the motu 896.It's a firewire interface and firewire is the best way in.Other fire wire options are Metic Halo in out.Advantage of this interface is direct monitoring on all 8 chanels in,where as on the 896,direct monitoring on 2 channels only. Not a major issue if you are using an analogue mixer as well.An advantage of the 896 is trim pots on all 8 inputs on the front of the box.Very handy for quck adjustements during live recording.A cheaper option but sonically great is the motu 828 firewire interface. Also USB is another way in, the digidesign M Box being the best.(only 2 track). Do your research as some usb interfaces are crap and more trouble than they're worth. Also digi has just announced the 002 and it has a controll surface.Do your reaserch and pick the option that suits yourneeds and budget.
Hope this healps biggrin.gif
