I received a .sfk file (I believe a Soundforge or Sony File format???) that I need to work with in Bias Peak and maybe even Garageband, so my question is, what program can I use on a Mac to open this file, and then to convert it to AIF or WAV or something??
I cant seem to get iTunes, Peak, Amadeus, Audacity, or a few others to even recognize it. Any ideas??
Ideally a shareware program I can download as I need to work on this tomorrow and Im stuck.
From what I now read, it looks like .sfk files are simply graphic overview files used by Sounforge, that they aren't even audio files??
If you're certain that you do have audio files, try SoundHack to convert them to something you can use:

duozona,
You are correct. The .sfk file is just a data file containing the graphic image of the audio file's waveform. It is supposed to accompany the .wav file. More info http://nav.440network.com/out.php?mmsc=forums&url=http://www.fileinfo.net/extension/sfk.
