440 Forums _ Software on MacOS X _ Ear Training For Osx

Écrit par : nyc_joe jeu. 13 févr. 2003, 18:12

Hello, I'm looking for ear training software to use on my mac that will allow me to use a midi keyboard to enter responses. I used a product called solfege that a guy developed for Linux. It was all I needed but I got tired of Linux and have switched back to Mac. Now I want to continue on this platform. nyc_joe

When you write "ear training" do you mean you want to develop perfect pitch or just the ability to recognise chords and intervals?

The link below may not be exactly what you are looking for, however it may interest you.

Clarion is a music utility which allows you to practice and be quizzed
on your ability to recognize musical intervals.

Thanx. That's a start but I'm actually looking for something more elaborate. nyc_joe

You might want to try my ear training application Functional Ear Trainer. The latest version supports Mac OS X, and is available in several languages: English, French, Spanish ...
