I have fireface and the sound is warm, clean and brilliant. I love RME. This micstasy must be wonderful.

RME makes usually good interfaces, with good converters, good clocks, clean pres. certainly worth checking out for those with the cash. Given the MADI version, they aimed the interface at pro/half-pro markets and they can certainly deliver, now waiting for users reports.

Hi There,
Just bought 24 chs. worth of Micstasy, they come at a price, but boy, are they wonderful ! I´m using them for live sound, and though I don´t have a MADI-equipped digital mixer (yet), I´m able to record digitally and also have an analog split for monitors. The preamps and converters sound great and the intelligent gain control works, no hard limiting necessary any more ! I can hardly wait to be able to control everything from my laptop. It´s going to be a very portable and seriously professional system !
